Still on my dissertation.

I need a bit of help.
The Brutish Airways issue is one of my case studies so please if you blogged about it or linked it or put up a poster about the boycott, could you kindly let me know. I am trying to ascertain the power and effect of blogging.

Also, expert bloggers in the house, apart from the neo-counter, is there any other way I can find out how many visitors were at a blog? I believe that politiocal/activist bloggers like theafrobeat, solomonsydelle, gnaija, comrade, chxta, nneoma etc attract as many readers as others like afrobabe,jinta,pink-satin etc who deal with softer issues. But I need to prove this, and right now all I got is the number of comments each post generates and thats not good enough. Help, anyone?

It's difficult to be holding a little baby and typing away, but I attended Sefi Attah's reading long ago and when asked how she finished her novel despite having to care for a little girl. She said, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, and recounted how once at 3am, she was feeding the baby with one hand and typing with another. I am drawing my inspiration from her.

I am a bit concerned about Jintaoooooo. Does anyone know where he is?

Cheers y'all.

I worry about Jinta too.

All the best with your dissertation. Try finding out some things about the Brutish Airways from Solomonsydelle. She blogged about it. http://www.solomonsydelle.com
If the flow f comments didn’t help you know more about a blgo traffic, do try the profile view. The profile view tells you how many numbers of times a profile has being view which of course means the profile links the visitor to the blog. Am I making sense?

Yes, solomonsydelle is the one-stop shop for info on Brutish Airways.

In regards to determining how many people visit your blog, here are some options:

alexa.com - tracks the number people who visit a site over time. however, it may not work with sites that get relatively little traffic.

feedburner.com - gives a count of how many people are subscribed to a particular blog

technorati.com - helpful if you want to find out how many other sites have referenced your particular site of interest - more of a popularity test that can serve as a proxy for number of visitors

I used to care about such things in my early days of blogging - now, I blog first for me and the few who do actually stop by....

i stayed away 4rm d boycott thing. i ddnt put up d poster on my blog page either. i just ddnt have enough faith n it amounting 2 anything.

as 4 popularity n posts, i find it has pretty little 2 do with what is written as much as it has with how it is written.

Hey, I'm sorry that I am just visiting your blog in a long time. Are you still looking for ways to prove the amount of readers vs. clicks on sites? There are quite a few ways, but you would need some help - cooperation from the blog owners to share their numbers, and/or use Technorati rankings (quite easy to do) and other rankings at Alexa.com.

If there are any more specific questions that you have please let me know at kontactr.com/solomonsydelle

Again, sorry to just be seeing this but I have been and continue to be seriously overextended. =)

God bless!
